CAACPA is seeking partnership with Historians, Geneologists, Universities, Museums, Libraries & Archives, and Preservation Organizations


Chloe Historic Cemetery preserves the stories of African American, Creole, and Native American families whose roots trace to Chloe, Iowa, and the historic LeBleu Settlement area of Calcasieu Parish.


Historical records, cemetery documentation, land records, and descendant research continue to reveal an important chapter of Southwest Louisiana history.
